The successful candidate will be responsible for designing hydraulic actuation systems for turbine by-pass stations, including hydraulic actuators and power units used for positioning steam and water valves in power plants.
What will be your responsibility?
- Review and assess project specification for creating concept design for technical and commercial proposal
- Conduct requirements clarification process with customer engineering team
- Execute hydraulic calculations, components selection
- Create parts/assemblies specifications for sub-suppliers, review and follow-up part/assembly production & testing
- Draw hydraulic diagrams, design parts & assemblies, create bills-of-materials, create test procedures, write functional specifications
- Cooperate with and support mechanical & I&C engineering, procurement, production, quality & management departments during all phases of hydraulic equipment production & testing
- Plan & track engineering activities, report status to management
- Execute factory acceptance tests witnessed by customers and/or notified bodies
- Provide direct customer service support by conducting technical presentations, problem solving and attend technical review meetings
- Provide engineering support to IMI CCI service team, inside & outside sales during product life time
- Occasional worldwide traveling for providing sales/service support, commissioning of products in Power Plants
- Design new products, define standard technical solution, create customized designs, develop test procedures, perform design reviews and verify standards and manuals
- Regularly review the product design to improve performance and reduce cost
- Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies, which may improve the product
We are looking for candidate who will have most of the following:
- University degree in mechanical engineering, Energetics / Fluid Engineering or similar.
- Experience in similar role 3-5 years.
- Design effective solutions, translates concepts and information into drawings and schematics.
- Good knowledge of instrument and control systems.
- Experience with design or project engineering of hydraulic systems.
- AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Customer-oriented and open-minded personality.
